Armenian Defense Minister: "Armenia Intends to Purchase Weapons in New Markets"
On December 7, Suren Papikyan, the Minister of Defense of Armenia, stated that the republic is considering acquiring weapons of new quality and close to actual results.

Papikyan said that the Ministry of Defense proposes to establish additional payments for officers, non-commissioned officers, and rank-and-file soldiers who perform combat tasks or occupy positions with planning or control functions, provided that they pass certification to increase the attractiveness and interest in contract military service.
Tension Decreases along Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
After the ceasefire agreement between the countries, Armenia and Azerbaijan did not commit any shelling along the border and the tense situation started to decrease. As of 11:21 CET, there are no significant clashes along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

Giving a brief statement about the content of the list without going into details, the Indian official said that the list mainly draws attention to UAVs and that there are not only UAVs on that list.

Suren Papkiyan said that many suspect that an attempt is being made to subordinate the armed forces to the defense minister. “Meanwhile, this is not an attempt, but a very clear step: the army must be subordinate to the Minister of Defense and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief,” the head of the Defense Ministry said.
