On December 7, Suren Papikyan, the Minister of Defense of Armenia, stated that the republic is considering acquiring weapons of new quality and close to actual results.
"For the last year, we can say that we are already considering new opportunities that have been provided to us. We knocked on many doors. And this is a natural process," he added.
According to Suren Papikyan, he is talking about weapons and weapons of new quality. "There is a lot of work going on. Certain results are already visible and close to the subject," Papikyan added.
As previously reported by Caucasus Watch, India will supply Armenia with a large consignment of weapons and ammunition worth almost $250 million.
