Recent developments in Chechnya regarding separatist war in Ukraine

Soldiers from the Kadyrov family left as volunteers for Ukraine

Another contingent of volunteers from Chechnya left to join combat missions in Ukraine, said the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov.

“The brave men from the Kadyrov family, my close relatives, also considered it necessary to be part of a powerful liberation weapon. In the ranks of volunteers, they moved to fight the nationalists,” Kadyrov specified.

According to him, "these are brave and courageous fighters, true professionals of military art, for whom service for the good of the Motherland is the highest goal."

The volunteers were escorted by Chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic Magomed Daudov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government Isa Tumkhadzhiev and Deputy Prime Minister Abuzaid Vismuradov.

“We must free the Ukrainian people from the criminal oppression of nationalist groups and protect Russia from an external threat,” Kadyrov said.

Kadyrov offered Zelenskyy asylum in Chechnya

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, offered Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asylum in Chechnya.

"Zelenskyy! Did your intelligence agencies advise you to flee Ukraine? You wouldn't wish such advisers to your enemy; I say without irony. In other words, they advised you to be the first to escape from the sinking ship. Better listen to what the leaders of neighbouring countries advise you: together with Russia, cleanse Ukraine of various rabble in the form of Bandera, neo-Nazis, Azov, the so-called Ichkerians, Wahhabis and terrorists who migrated from the Middle East, and then together build a state free from extremism, stop being an American and NATO puppet, become a strong-willed president with his own iron opinion,” Kadyrov wrote on social networks.

He believes that Zelenskyy should agree with all the proposals of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Vladimir Vladimirovich's conditions are mutually beneficial and productive. Please note that our leader always supports countries that have become victims of the dirty politics of the West and makes them strategic allies. He will also support Ukraine,” Kadyrov said. He called on Zelenskyy to not to go down in history as “a president who, due to weakness of character and short-sightedness, could not cope with the internal threat and external instigators, the problems of the country and alien Western ideology. It does not suit the commander in chief to first hide in shelters hundreds of kilometres away from hostilities, and then shamefully abandon his country and people,” the head of Chechnya noted.

“Turn around to face Russia and you will go down in history as a peacemaker who saved his people. If you are worried about your life, then I am ready to turn to Vladimir Vladimirovich to offer you asylum in the Chechen Republic. Don't be afraid, we'll save your face. And most importantly, no one will find you!” Kadyrov suggested.

Earlier, Ramzan Kadyrov said that the most trained and combat-ready Chechen military went to a special operation conducted by Russia in Ukraine. According to him, he personally saw off the fighters of the special police regiment named after the Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov.
