Shalva Papuashvili Meets New EU Ambassador to Georgia

On October 28, Pawel Herczynski, the European Union's Ambassador to Georgia, and Shalva Papuashvili, Georgia's Parliament Speaker, met to go through the implementation of the European Commission's 12 recommendations in further detail, the Press Office of the Georgian Parliament reported.

Am 24. Oktober wandte sich der georgische Parlamentspräsident Schalwa Papuaschwili in einem Brief an Tiny Kox, den Präsidenten der Parlamentarischen Versammlung des Europarates (PACE), und erläuterte die Weigerung der Abgeordneten des "Georgischen Traums", über die jüngste Resolution zu Russland abzustimmen. Er kritisierte die Versammlung dafür, dass sie den ehemaligen Präsidenten Micheil Saakaschwili im Text der Resolution erwähnte.

“Caucasus Watch” is seeking local specialists from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and the North Caucasus region, to assist our research endeavours and help enrich our content.
