NATO Conducts Training Course in Azerbaijan

On November 10, the training course "Assessment of Operations at the Operational Level in NATO" was held at the Military Management Institute of Azerbaijan by the Mobile Training Group of NATO's Joint Forces Command located in Brunssum, the Press Office of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.

The course participants lasted until November 12, information about relevant topics was given, and various exercises were organized. The Ministry informed that on the first day of the training, military personnel from different types of troops of the Azerbaijan Army were taught by representatives of the mobile training group about "NATO and military cooperation," "NATO operations planning process," "NATO operations evaluation," "NATO operations analysis," and other topics.

Notably, within the framework of cooperation with NATO, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan uses the Partnership for Peace Program, Individual Partnership Operational Plan, Planning and Analysis Process, Operational Capabilities Concept, Partnership Staff Positions, Defense Education Expansion Program, Science for Peace Program, and other NATO partnership mechanisms. During the period of cooperation, Azerbaijan participated in numerous NATO exercises, training, and educational and other programs; dozens of NATO events were held in Azerbaijan. Numerous mutual visits were carried out. NATO participated in the financing of the demining of Azerbaijani territories.
