Moscow is waiting for a response from Baku and Yerevan

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said they were closely monitoring the situation on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Moscow is waiting for a response from Baku and Yerevan regarding the proposal on delimitation issues.

"We expect a response soon to determine the next direction," Zakharova said.

Russia also wrote to Baku about the exercises in the Caspian Sea.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova did not elaborate.

"Russia's position on this has been brought to the attention of official Baku. Taking into account the understanding of our Azerbaijani colleagues, I think it is possible to avoid public comments," Zakharov said at the briefing.

On September 10, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry reported that the tasks of the latest stage were fulfilled in the joint exercises of the Azerbaijani and Turkish submarine attack and submarine defence groups in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

At this stage, in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the ship captured by a conventional terrorist group was successfully neutralized and the fake terrorists released the ship.

The special forces of the two brotherly countries demonstrated high professionalism and performed the tasks set in the next stage of the training with the help of helicopters and boats.
